Arrived in Jerome with reserved parking
This was a turn key tour. The price of the tour included all the basics...we made all the arrangements!
Started in Orange County anytime on Friday, Sept 11, 2009.
Headed out to the Colorado River at Parker Arizona for the night.
It is only a short 4 hour drive.
Attend an open house at the Goodyear never to be finished house, party the evening at the Tiki Lounge at the Goodyear’s Hospitality Suite.
Saturday morning, meet at the at the Goodyear’s.
Followed by a driver’s meeting and departing to Parker for a photo op at the Parker Chamber of Commerce then headed off to Jerome stopping in Wickenburg for lunch.
In Jerome, a tour of the ghost town with three wineries thrown in with wine tasting included
Head off to Cottonwood and check into the Quality Inn Motel.
At 5:00 pm off to an all you can eat BBQ dinner and western entertainment at the Blazin’ M Ranch.
After dinner we posed for pictures in period costumes then head back to the motel for the night.
Sunday morning after a continental breakfast leave for a 1/2 day tour of Sedona.
Followed by boarding the Verde Canyon Train at 12:30 pm for lunch and a four hour train ride. Should be retured around 5:30 pm. Everyone stayed the optional Sunday in Cottonwoo. Some even stayed over to re-visit Sedona and the surrounding areas with more sightseeing and shopping at the many galleries and shops.
A Tour Package was handed out at the Hospitality Suite with all directions, maps, travel guide, etc.
All meals from Friday night through Sunday noon was included as well as the Verde Canyon Train ride.
